Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Delivery Head for our Travel & Hospitality division. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of high-quality travel and hospitality services, including the operation of guest houses, ensuring employee/guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities
Leadership:
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Inspire and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
Delivery Management:
- Oversee the delivery of travel partners to ensure they meet contractual obligations and service standards.
- Ensure high-quality delivery in all aspects of travel and hospitality.
- Plan and execute staff training and development programs to enhance delivery skills.
- Continuously monitor and improve delivery processes to ensure employee/guest satisfaction.
- Manage the operations of guest houses, ensuring they are well-maintained, fully operational, and providing excellent service to employees/guests.
Business Acumen:
- Negotiate with hotels, airlines, and other travel service providers to secure the best rates and service agreements. Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and other industry stakeholders. Use Travel Analytics to drive decision-making and improve service outcomes.
- Demonstrate thorough business knowledge, understand the boundaries of authority, and avoid incidences of fraud; timely alert any incident should it occur.
- Build relationships and influence on continuous improvement.
Process Excellence:
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures across the division.
- Use data and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Risk Management:
- Continuously monitor and improve operational processes to mitigate risks.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and health standards within the division.
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address potential risks.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the organization and its clients.
Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Handle escalated employee/guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Facilitate transparent and open communication to ensure alignment on goals and expectations
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience of 10-15 years as a Delivery Head, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role in the travel and hospitality industry.
- Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills for dealing with hotels, airlines, and other travel service providers.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using Travel Analytics and data-driven decision making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
About the Department
Finance
The Finance function at Dr Reddy’s goes beyond the traditional roles of monitoring costs, supervising accounting and creating reports. Deep into its digitalization transformation journey, the function works with all departments in the organization as a strategic partner and plays a major role in supporting management in its decision making.
The function is distributed globally - has business partnering teams allied to different business units as Controllers and Planners and secondly, distributed as multiple CoEs housed in Corporate office such as Treasury, Risk & Insurance, Taxation, Corporate Analytics, Investor Relations, GFRT and GBS.
