About Young Leaders’ Program
The Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Young Leaders' Program is our flagship program designed for graduates from the finest management and technology institutes in India to come and apply their minds and help us deliver our commitment to the world - To accelerate access to affordable and innovative medicines because Good Health Can’t Wait.
The Young Leaders’ Program aims to identify and nurture the brightest minds, and provide them with a platform to excel in their professional careers. We believe in the power of young talent and the transformative impact they can make. The Young Leaders' Program is a testament to this belief, offering a unique blend of hands-on learning, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge technologies.
The program emphasizes a holistic approach to talent development, focusing on core skills, leadership, teamwork, and communication. YLP trainees are encouraged to think critically, explore unconventional ideas, and embrace a growth mindset. We provide a strong support system where they can connect with like-minded individuals, build lasting professional networks, and learn from the best minds in the industry.
The trainees in the Technical track undergo functional stints in Manufacturing and Research & Development to give them complete exposure to two areas of their expertise in the pharmaceutical industry.
The trainees in the Management track undergo functional stints in Sales & Marketing, Product, Commercial, and a stint in their respective function/area of expertise.
An important aspect of the Young Leaders’ Program is the rural immersion where each trainee works at the grass root level with guidance from our NGO partners such as Dr. Reddy’s Foundation, NICE Foundation and Naandi Foundation for initiatives that are a priority to the organisation for betterment of the rural communities in India.
Dr. Reddy's Young Leaders' Program aims to nurture entry-level talent and equip them with the skills needed to become leaders with a strong sense of purpose. The program focuses on developing both functional and leadership capabilities by providing essential learning interventions and fostering a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry. Who is eligible to apply?
First year full-time flagship MBA students across all B-schools and Pre-final Year students of B.E./B.Tech or Dual-degree B.E. M.E./B.Tech M.Tech only from Mechanical and Chemical branches from all Engineering colleges are eligible to participate.

On the professional front - I have become very mature in handling key decisions for business outcome and growth. I was given key challenges to work on during early days in my career which has helped me to develop professionally. On the personal front, it has helped me to be patient and analyze situations from all perspectives.
