Job Summary
We are looking for an Associate Data Engineering, contributing to the development of data engineering solutions aligned with strategic business needs. Your role will involve documenting specifications, analysing system performance, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and regulatory requirements. By proactively identifying risks and driving continuous improvement, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality data access solutions and optimizing operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be responsible for understanding strategic requirements to build effective data engineering solutions that meet business requirements.
• You will be responsible for developing end-to-end data engineering solutions to enable seamless data access meeting availability and Quality SLA for consumers.
• You will document specifications to ensure consistency in approach and use.
• You will conduct systems and applications performance characterization and trade-off studies through analysis and simulation.
• You will be responsible for upholding continuous improvements in coding standards.
• You will be responsible for building innovative operational solutions and best practices.
• You will proactively identify risks and issues in the project and raise them in a timely manner for resolution.
• You will adhere to compliances and regulatory requirements, and collaborate with team members to deliver all performance and governance metrics.

Educational qualification: A Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Minimum work experience: 1 to 2 years of experience

Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms and associated Cloud services.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with creating data models.
• Knowledge of database concepts and principles.
• Familiarity with Linux or Unix environment and exposure to command line utilities.
• Familiarity with creating or supporting production software or systems.
• Familiarity with streaming integration development for handling real-time data streams.
• Familiarity with creating scalable distributed system to meet future data volume & processing need.

Behavioural skills
• Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision, showcasing self-reliance and autonomy.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality of work.
