Job Description

Role Summary

This role supports the North America Commercial Operations team by driving the identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities through analytics. The incumbent will perform in-depth analysis to optimize Gross to Net (GTN), identify and address revenue leakages, and support data-driven decision-making.

The role is also responsible for cost benefit analysis, impact evaluation of upcoming process/projects and exploring the new analytical opportunities. Additionally, it ensures efficient execution of commercial processes including customer claims and returns management, driving automation initiatives, and delivering actionable commercial insights. The position partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and external customers to protect revenue, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with internal controls.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day‑to‑day North America commercial operations, ensuring seamless transaction processing and timely issue resolution.
  • Manage customer claims, deductions, disputes, and product returns, including validation, approvals, ageing tracking, and closure.
  • Serve as primary contact for customer queries, ensuring strong relationship management.
  • Identify process gaps, revenue leakages, and improvement opportunities, drive process enhancements and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT on system support and enhancements across platforms such as SAP, Vistex, and Bright.
  • Perform commercial analytics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and revenue risks; develop dashboards and actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Monitor key operational metrics and recommend actions to improve profitability.
  • Support monthly and quarterly accruals for returns and commercial programs; assist with audit documentation.
  • Prepare and circulate FTS MIS, projection trackers, and dashboards.
  • Review key customer contracts and non-standard terms for financial and operational implications.
  • Conduct monthly reviews with front-office teams and periodic reviews with senior leadership on commercial performance.
  • Lead initiatives such as WAC reduction to drive GTN improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance standards, and audit requirements.

Qualifications

CA/MBA with 2-3 years of relevant experience in commercial operations & analytics.

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong proficiency in SAP, Advanced Excel, Tableau (Vistex knowledge is an added advantage)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across geographies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proactive mindset toward process improvement and automation
