Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to manage the end-to-end process of invoice handling, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role will be placed within Finance and report into the Finance Controlling Team. 

Responsibilities:

•    Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
•    Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure consistency.
•    Enter invoice data into the accounting system and ensure timely processing.
•    Resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders or receipts.
•    Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address invoice-related issues.
•    Monitor invoice aging and coordinate with Accounts Payable team on timely payments release.
•    Maintain organized records of invoices and related documentation.
•    Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
•    Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
•    Support process improvement initiatives within the accounts payable function.


Qualifications

Educational qualification: Associate’s or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).

Experience: 2+ years of experience in invoice processing or accounts payable

Skills & attributes:

•    Familiarity with accounting software and SAP systems.
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
•    Good communication and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
•    Knowledge of three-way matching and invoice reconciliation.
•    Understanding of tax regulations and vendor compliance requirements.

Incumbent should be willing to work in person from our Princeton, NJ office.
