Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate/Specialist in Materials Planning and Logistics for Cell Therapies, you'll support the cell therapy team’s daily operations and report to the Warehouse Lead at Dr. Reddy’s CAR-T facility in Bengaluru. Your role will involve coordinating shipments of global cell therapy materials and critical reagents, managing external warehousing, and developing long-term strategies for sourcing critical raw materials and consumables.

Additionally, you'll assist the team during manufacturing runs, handling tasks such as kitting, material delivery to production suites, preparing GRN, ensuring compliance with QMS (Quality Management System) activities, overseeing dispensing activities, managing equipment operations and cleaning, and handling various warehouse-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee shipments and logistics for cell therapy products and key raw materials.
  • Maintain and optimize a network of internal and external warehouses and develop effective stock level strategies.
  • Handle warehouse operations including onboarding, receipt and release of materials, inventory management, kitting, and reconciliation.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Support manufacturing operations in classified areas following SOPs, cGMP, and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all training is current to maintain necessary technical expertise.
  • Make sure processing equipment and materials are available, maintained, and qualified for various manufacturing activities.
  • Assist in investigating manufacturing and technical deviations.
  • Participate in identifying and solving problems, and in change initiatives with other teams and functions.
  • The role requires on-site work in cleanroom and warehouse environments.

Qualifications

Master's or Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, engineering, or a related pharmaceutical science, with 6-10 years of relevant industry experience.


Additional Information

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in handling all aspects of material receipt, issuance, storage, and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse QMS-related activities, including Change control, Incident, CAPA, DOCHUB, iSlate, I-create, and Pas-x etc.
  • Experience in the calibration of weighing balances, updating calibration schedules, and ensuring equipment synchronization.
  • Experience in the operation, cleaning, and calibration of warehouse equipment, including weighing balances.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality and cGMP standards, closure of non-compliance observations, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with the import/export of biological materials.
  • Ability to work weekends as needed to support ongoing manufacturing runs.
  • Capacity to achieve and maintain gowning qualifications for aseptic environments.
  • The position generally requires support in a GMP manufacturing facility and may involve extended periods of work or support.

  • Effective problem-solving skills for closure of non-compliance observations and addressing dispensing activities.
  • Attention to detail for preparation of GRN, labeling, document issuance and retrieval, and maintaining discipline on the shop floor.
  • Proficiency in managing calibration schedules, time & date synchronization of equipment, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
