1. Plan capacity for the plant:  Identify new technologies and methods to build capacity and flexibility in plant operations.

2. Drive the TPM Mindset of losses and wastage identification and elimination (PQCDSM)
3. Monitor availability of material, infrastructure, manpower and equipment for production process;

4. Drive automation. Identify technologies to automate process; synchronize with cross functional teams while driving SDP & FOF .
5. Ensure timely launch and delivery of Must win & PTM (product that matter) as per plan. 

6. Drive SHE initiatives and monitor compliance by the team; Conduct spot checks and talk to personnel to evaluate safety norms in order to maintain compliance to safety, health and environment initiatives

7. Drive Quality culture and monitor the compliance of the manufacturing operations .

8. Ensure that plant is compliant with all legal and quality norms and clears all external and internal audits.

9. Monitor plant maintenance and check on preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance reports

10. Conduct goal setting, performance appraisals and mentoring/ coaching for team members; collaborate with HR in manpower planning

11. Monitor operating expenses by prioritizing necessary expense;  Own repairs and maintenance, manpower, safety initiatives,  in order to control operating budget  for respective manufacturing unit at FTO 

B.Pharma/ Engineer with at least 15 years of experience of leading a large plant operations team. Especially Derma ( Creams / Gels etc )
