Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scientist Process Development in the pharmaceutical development process, responsible for formulation understanding, process design, optimization, scale-up calculations, and handling exhibit batches. This role involves working on semi-solid formulations and technical documentation, as well as process validations, to ensure the successful development and scale-up of pharmaceutical products.

Roles & Responsibilities

·  Conduct strategic evaluations to design and optimize pharmaceutical processes, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness in development.

·  Determine batch sizes for both early-stage development and commercial production, factoring in critical parameters and quality standards.

·  Lab scale process development for semi-solid formulations, managing everything from concept to commercialization, including experimental design and formulation strategies.

·  Execute scale-up calculations and facilitate the transition from lab-scale to production-scale for seamless manufacturing.

·  Oversee exhibit batch handling, coordinating activities and documentation to meet regulatory requirements and project timelines.

·  Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including development reports, process validation protocols, and regulatory submissions.

·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, resolve technical challenges, and maintain product quality and consistency.

·  Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory guidelines, integrating best practices and innovative technologies into pharmaceutical development.

Educational qualification: Masters in pharma/Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering
Minimum work experience: 4-6 years  of Experience in Process Development/Manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Expertise in process optimization, development, and troubleshooting across various dosage forms (Semi-solid and Oral liquids) and technologies.

• Hands-on experience in full-scale production, ensuring smooth end-to-end scale-up.

• Deep understanding of processing techniques and equipment, supporting efficient and high-quality manufacturing.

• Proficiency in deficiency management and product validation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Proven track record in improving manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency and product quality.

• Extensive experience with semi-solid formulations, mastering formulation strategies and process controls.
