Job Description

We are seeking Medical Information Associate to lead Dr. Reddy’s Medical Information Strategy and processes, including the daily oversight of Dr. Reddy’s product information database for US and Canada. The incumbent will be based in our India office and report to Head Pharmacovigilance & Medical Affairs - North America

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high quality, scientifically sound medical information content (e.g., Medical Response Documents) to fulfill unsolicited requests for information from customers and to support achievement of established medical objectives
  • Collaborate and coordinate with appropriate staff to provide guidance to the Medical Information Call Center (MICC) for appropriate handling of escalated inquiries and assist with training of the MIC as needed

  • Support Associate MA NAG in performance of PRC related activities

  • Assist in the development and review of medical information content to be provided to external customers in support of product access Collaborate with management and other internal stakeholders, to develop, implement, and maintain processes to maximize compliant and effective delivery of Medical Information services

  • Serve as integral member of Medical Affairs Team In tandem with the Head of PV MA-NAG participate in post-launch activities ensuring Medical Information preparedness for successful product launches (launch documents, FAQs)

  • Work independently yet ensure strategic alignment of information with key internal stakeholders and experts, as necessary

  • Maintaining Medical Information SOPs and relevant vendor trainings

  • Lead or participate in projects/initiatives within MI or across functions, as assigned

  • Identify emerging medical trends, marketplace issues (e.g., Medical Inquiry Trends, Business Intelligence) and quality assurance issues and share with appropriate personnel

  • Collaborate with relevant internal functions to maintain product information database

  • Support the medical information needs of internal functions, as required, including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance

  • Provide disease state and product training to internal groups as needed

  • Support Medical Affairs activities as and when necessary and assigned by Head PV MA

  • Vendor management

  • Improve PVMA Database(s) efficiency by collaborating with MICC and internal stakeholders on optimization suggestions to meet growing demands of PVMA

  • Provide suggestions on improving current technology or ways to maximize MIC database capabilities to help meet demands of PVMA function

     


Qualifications

Educational qualification: Pharm D required

Minimum work experience: 3 years

Technical Skills

  • Medical writing skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in medical information communication and management
  • Understanding of global regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements


Behavioral skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to engage collaboratively with stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively with multinational development teams in a multicultural working environment

  • Proven track record of working successfully with cross-functional teams to achieve goals

  • Nation and international travel required: 5%
