Job Description

Role Overview:

As the Lead UX Designer, you'll be a critical contributor to our design philosophy. In your area of allocated responsibility, you'll ensure that design isn't just an afterthought but is woven into every digital interaction we craft. From the experiences we offer our employees, doctors, and patients, to the systems and processes we deploy, your influence will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities (Lead UX Designer will be provided with a charter to lead one or more business functions):

  • User-Centered Design: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
  • Design Development: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for workflows, MIS dashboards, customer engagement applications, and eCommerce, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate implementation of designs that meet project requirements.
  • GenAI Integration: Explore and implement GenAI-assisted design tools to enhance workflows and generate design variations based on user feedback.
  • Design Systems & Evangelization: Develop and maintain design systems and style guides; evangelize design processes within the organization, including running design thinking workshops and team-building exercises.
  • Support Product Launches & Change Management: Assist in product launches, manage change effectively, and ensure communication design aligns with user needs and business goals.
  • Feedback & Iteration: Present design concepts to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and iterate designs to continually improve quality and user satisfaction.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
    • Atleast 4-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work and design processes.
    • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or InVision.
    • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with GenAI-assisted UX/UI design methodologies and tools.
    • Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for better collaboration with development teams.
    • Relevant certifications in UX/UI design, such as Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or UX Design Professional Certificate.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
