How did your journey with Dr. Reddy's begin?
I started by supporting the Sales Team by providing analytics, monitoring product inventory and allocations, assisting with product launches, Trade Show logistics, and promotional materials. I also facilitated Sales Rep communications with internal departments. My duties changed and I became a Product Manager. My duties changed again, and I am now responsible for eCommerce for Institutional Sales.
How would you describe your personal and professional development?
Dr. Reddy's has been a very good environment to grow personally and professionally. My skillset has grown as the company has provided opportunities to expand my development and responsibilities. The company culture fosters collaboration horizontally and vertically. Management and peers are very supportive and approachable.
What is it about Dr. Reddy's that has made you stay here for so long?
I have stayed with Dr. Reddy's because of the culture, collaborative work environment and development opportunities the company provides. I enjoy working with my teams - departmental and cross-functional. People are there to support one another to accomplish goals.
What is the best career advice you have been given?
Take advantage and consider opportunities as they are presented to you.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Be willing to take chances and realize the road is not always a straight path to your ultimate goal.
What has surprised you the most career-wise?
When I was younger and in college pursuing my Computer Science degree, I thought I would always be programming or rolling out technical projects. I never thought I would end up in Sales & Marketing and be happy about it.
