Role: Controller - Treasury
To play an active role in Managing Investments & Ensure proper controlling, compliance and accounting of Treasury related activities. The incumbent would be responsible for periodic book closure, accuracy/completeness of Trial Balance, tracking of forex exposure, SoX and statutory audits of treasury, automation of process controls, review and monitoring of Treasury Back-office activities and in-depth analysis of Treasury P/L & B/S
The challenging aspects of the role
- Assist in managing Investments in Mutual funds, Bonds, Fixed deposits. Current Investment book is 6000 crs.
- Analysis of forex exposure & forex P&L at group level.
- Exposure to niche segments like financial market, derivatives, hedge accounting and SAP TRM module.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuous monitoring of Treasury transactions processing and ensure proper accounting.
- Ensure systematic closure of books for treasury transaction in accordance with accounting standards.
- Preparation of analytical reports, notes to accounts ,6K and reports to aid post book closure activities.
- Prepare and distribute MIS to senior management.
- Assist in Managing Investments.
- Co-ordinating with other finance teams to ensure proper capture of data for FX exposure tracking.
- Review all activities of treasury back office.
- Periodic review of SLA’s & SOP’s
- Prepare various reports like UFCE, stock statements etc., as required by banks from time to time.
- Prepare and analyse forex & Investment P/L.
- Responding to queries of Statutory and Internal Auditors(Including SoX) and co-ordinating with them to ensure timely closure of audits.
Educational qualifications: CA/MBA
Experience Required: 3-5 years

Deep into its digitalization transformation journey, the function works with all departments in the organization as a strategic partner and plays a major role in supporting management in its decision making.
The function is distributed globally and has business partnering teams allied to different business units as Controller and Planners. And, secondly distributed as multiple Centre of Excellence housed in Corporate office, such as treasury, Risk & Assurance, Taxation, Corporate Analytics, Investor Relations, GFRT and GBS.
