Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Technician to join our dynamic team. You will report into the Manager of Quality Assurance and play a crucial role in ensuring that highest standards of quality are maintained throughout our manufacturing processes. The role involves inspecting, testing, and evaluating products to guarantee compliance with organizational quality standards. Roles & Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • You will be responsible for using various testing equipment and tools to perform measurements, visual inspections, and functional tests.
  • You will be responsible for accurate documentation of inspection results, test data, and any deviations from quality standards.
  • You will be responsible for preparing detailed reports summarizing inspection findings and communicating results to relevant stakeholders.
  • You will be responsible for collaborating with production teams to identify and address quality issues promptly.
  • You will be responsible for working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to guarantee accurate and reliable measurements.
  • You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on testing equipment and reporting any malfunctions for timely resolution.
  • You will be responsible for staying updated on industry regulations and quality standards to ensure our products adhere to all applicable requirements.
  • You will be responsible for assisting in the development and updating of quality control procedures and protocols.
  • You will be responsible for providing training to production personnel on quality control processes and standards.
  • You will be responsible for offering support and guidance to teams to foster a culture of quality consciousness.

Qualifications

Educational qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in quality control is a plus

 

Skills & attributes:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality control processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
