Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented engineering team member to coordinate preventive maintenance schedules, manage breakdown records, and ensure adherence to SOPs, critical for maintaining operational efficiency and equipment reliability. This role plays a pivotal part in inventory control, and CAPA closure, contributing to seamless production operations, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective resource utilization.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Basic engineering – TVC, PFD & Plant Layout review
  • Detail engineering, Block layout, P & ID review, equipment data sheet review, URS, DQ, PVP etc.
  • Hazop analysis for safety design.
  • Preparation / Review of Project plan and schedule.
  • Responsible for meeting the Project Schedule and quality of the works
  • Correspondence with consultant, vendor and sub-contractors.
  • Support the Project Manager in administrating jobs with respect to decision making, organizing, coordinating and providing solutions.
  • Preparation/review of work procedures and method statements during the execution of the Project.
  • Ensure proper erection of equipment as per standard
  • Review of as-built drawings, standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure all construction works be carried out as per the approved drawings(IFC) and specifications
  • Planning of resources, subcontracts required for the scheduled completion
  • Identification of critical areas and initiate corrective actions with regard to meet the project schedule
  • Analysis of Sub-contract rates & Cost estimation for the Subcontract works
  • Overall Coordination with Client, Consultants, Sub-Contractors and Vendors for project execution phase and resolution of
  • Field Engineering issues
  • Lead a team of Engineers and supervisors and allocation of job responsibility to accomplish scheduled completion
  • Progress measurement and certification of work done for the subcontractors.
  • Testing of equipment like FAT & SAT or arranging third party inspection.
  • API manufacturing required Clean room, Water system, Utility system & process equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Qualification package preparation – IQ, OQ, PQ and assisting for validation batches.

Hand over protocol.


Qualifications

Educational qualification: B.E - Mechanical

Minimum work experience: 8 to 10 years

Skills & attributes:

Technical Skills

• Knowledge and experience in handling mechanical Project.
• Experience in project execution of API equipment.
• Ability to manage maintenance budget of an area/unit.
• Knowledge of GMP and GEP.

Knowledge in AutoCAD.

Behavioral skills
• Communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross functional teams, external contractors and agencies.
• Attention to detail to ensure projects, documentation, and project budget control.
• Commitment to quality and compliance.
