Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Leader for our Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) department in Pydibimavaram, India. As the MSAT Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in driving process improvements, ensuring product quality, and leading a team of skilled professionals in our state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

  • Lead and mentor a team of MSAT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Oversee process optimization initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology transfer activities and new product introductions
  • Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, resolve issues, and implement preventive measures
  • Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs
  • Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action implementation
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and support audits as needed
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Expertise in process optimization, technology transfer, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus
  • Experience with Process Analytical Technology (PAT) and its implementation in manufacturing
  • Familiarity with FDA and EMA regulatory requirements
  • Willingness to work in Pydibimavaram, India
