Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Commercial Contracts in our Finance team to support commercial contracts with customers for sale of pharmaceutical products, and responsibilities as assigned in general finance.  

This role will be based in Princeton, NJ (hybrid work schedule) and will report to the Lead Associate Commercial Contracts 

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned accounts relating to commercial contracts for the SRx (Specialty Rx) business, 
  • Support assigned Rx accounts in addition to Specialty Accounts.  
  • Prepare and review contract documents for assigned accounts, such as: 
        Terms and conditions
        Offer letters
        RFP/RFI (Request for Proposal/Request for Information) submissions
        Mass customer notices (WAC changes, discontinuations, etc.)  
  • Assist in contract negotiation and revision:
        with internal stakeholders (such as sales, marketing, management, legal, etc.).
        with external stakeholders (customers, etc.) to negotiate contract terms that align with Dr. Reddy’s policies and business objectives.
  • Maintain/update various databases in salesforce with updates on pricing and terms/conditions.
  • Disseminate information to appropriate internal parties, as required.
  • Coordinate conference calls with the sales team for open bid / contracts updates, and provide contract summaries.
  • Load pricing in SAP/Vistex, as needed.
  • Work closely with overseas finance team on system updates; price/rebate/fee loading; chargeback queries; address other queries, as they arise.
  • Support the business teams in new streams of business and in other items that may arise.
  • Backup credit review team to work with internal stakeholders to update and review credit limit blocks and adjustments for customers. 
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred educational qualification: B.S. in Accounting/Finance preferred.  

Minimum work experience:  2-4+ years of pharmaceutical or other contracts review experience or general finance experience.  Experience with drafting customer proposals, and experience reviewing business agreement/ financial terms and conditions review preferred.

Skills & attributes:

  • Attention to detail in reviewing business documents and pricing in Microsoft Word.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.  
  • Ability to quickly learn and use in house Bid management platform, embedded in Salesforce, as well as our enterprise management system, SAP, and Vistex, embedded in SAP.
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) & interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, organization and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to handle multiple projects/multi-task
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
  •  Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
