Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Portfolio Manager for ensuring a strong and diverse product pipeline tailored for the Global market. Lead the Ideation / selection and driving Integrated Product Strategies across various geographies. You will be responsible for tracking market trends, evaluating new opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions that maximize portfolio value. Additionally, you will coordinate with regional teams, prioritize discussions, and assess innovator activity to ensure the organization remains competitive in the market.
Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be responsible for supporting the ideation/selection of products by screening the overall universe and innovator pipeline and streamlining the Integrated Product Strategies Inc API and Formulation.
• You will be responsible for continuously tracking new approvals and evaluating them for relevant opportunities.
• You will be responsible for facilitating Pre-Apex and Apex meetings, coordinating with cross-functional teams (CFTs) to gather input and collate it with business considerations.
• You will be responsible for providing recommendations on in-housing versus external sourcing of products and finalizing site plans based on capacity assessment.
• You will be responsible for supporting evaluation of new ideated products for all geographies and planning leverage activities from the beginning.
• You will be responsible for coordinating with regional portfolio teams to understand therapy area relevance, market dynamics, and forecast to plan capacity and site effectively.
• You will be responsible for managing prioritization discussions for inclusion into Apex process and providing a commercial-driven view.
• You will be responsible for coordinating with business counterparts to drive portfolio selection processes for assigned geographies ensuring the portfolio maximizes value across dose forms and coordinating across verticals.
• You will be responsible for tracking innovator activity for existing products and prioritizing discussions within the organization and assessing the implications of innovator actions on the overall product strategy.
• You will be responsible for evaluating opportunities from business development proposals and driving reviews of life cycle management (LCM) ideas from marketing teams. Coordinating across markets to leverage insights from marketing teams, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and customers.
• You will be responsible for defining the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboard to assess pipeline health.
Educational qualification: Science/Pharma/Engineering graduate with MBA from a premier institute
Minimum work experience: 10-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical product management, or strategy roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
