Job Summary
We are looking for someone who will drive sales growth, achieve revenue targets, and ensure the successful promotion and distribution of pharmaceutical products with the objective of increasing market share of Dr. Reddy's Neuroscience products in Gauteng and maintain cordial relationships with key opinion leaders.
Roles & Responsibilities
• You will be responsible to prepare and analyse monthly and annual sales data for each product within the territory and allocate targets to sales representatives based on feasibility.
• You will be responsible to review and analyse the performance of the sales team. Participate in strategic discussions during regional sales meetings and cycle meetings.
• You will be responsible to collaborate with the marketing team to provide inputs for brand strategy development. Ensure the execution of the brand strategy by the sales team. Propose ideas to drive sales to senior management for approval.
• You will be responsible for Customer Relationship Management. Maintain relationships with key customers and opinion leaders. Conduct regular visits and communications to strengthen customer rapport.
• You will be responsible to provide insights for identifying Continuing Medical Education (CME) needs to the management team. Co-ordinate with the team to organize successful CME events for customers.
• You will be responsible for team development, lead recruitment efforts and conduct goal setting for team members. Conduct regular performance appraisals and identify training needs and provide development opportunities, necessary coaching for team member
• You will be required to contribute to new product pre-launch review, new product post-launch audit.
Educational qualification - A graduate degree in any Science stream.
Minimum work experience- 5-8 years of experience in Sales & Marketing with at least 3 years of experience as Regional Sales Manager. Strong Neuroscience experience mandatory.

• In depth understanding of SA pharmaceutical industry, customer segments, customer behaviour, competition.
• Proficiency in sales forecasting to predict market demand and allocate resources effectively.
• Knowledge of Neurology and Psychiatry therapeutic areas
• Ability to analyse sales data, track performance metrics, and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
• Understanding of statutory and regulatory guidelines.
