1. Seeking dynamic and motivated scientist with knowledge of solid state of organic molecules to work in screening of novel solid forms, their characterization, their crystallization processes and preformulation activities. The person should have ability to work in cross functional team to identify workability of the form and develop the form as appropriate

Detailed Work Description:

1. Understand and summarize IP landscape along with IP teams.
2. Design experiments(which includes selection of solvents, co-formers, using the right experimental conditions)
3. Execute screening experiments as per strategy

4. Characterize solid forms using triage techniques (XRPD, DSC, TGA) and DVS
5. Coordinate with analysts in conducting other characterization and  stability studies for relevant forms 

6. Assess novelty of forms with guidance

7. Draft documents for filing patents under guidance 
8. Support IP in comparing forms under guidance for pursuing patents

9. Generate material for lab, stress, and accelerated stability and execute stability studies

10. Coordinate preformulation studies as per strategy

11. Document executed experiments as per quality requirement in ELN

12. Draft screening report

13. Execute GXP guidelines, SOPs and internal systems for functional delivery  

Understand safety requirements within work area and identify potential hazards

1.M.Sc. (Chemistry) / M Pharm (Pharmaceutics) with specialization or experience in solid-state chemistry

2. 0-3 year of work experience in crystallization/solid-form screening                               

3. Successfully supported or directly handled polymorph screening for at least 0-2 products; understanding of organic solid state and screening techniques. Experience in computational models, molecular modelling & experimental tools will be advantageous.
