Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician who will ensure the operational integrity of infrastructure and equipment by conducting repairs, improvements, and maintenance. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance standards through regulatory inspections and updating SOPs to enhance operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs and improvements to infrastructure and equipment.
• You will be responsible for conducting the maintenance, preventive maintenance and metrology programs through updates and ongoing activities.
• You will be responsible for writing and/or updating the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Job Plans.
• You will be responsible for conducting regulatory and compliance inspections.

Educational qualification: College degree/training in a technical discipline and/or experience in maintenance, electrical and/or instrumentation, preferably in the food, pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry; Electrical training and/or certifications would be beneficial

Minimum work experience: 3 years

Skills & attributes:

• Experience in an industry with quality and regulatory interactions preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in following GDP (Good documentation practices).
• Experience in maintaining a safe work environment and following safety management systems.
• Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance systems.
• Good computer skills including MS Office.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Building Management System (BMS) knowledge would be beneficial.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of plant personnel, customers and vendors as necessary.
• Must possess high attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment and individually to complete tasks and projects.
• Good technical communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must offset regular working schedule to accommodate the business unit requirements.
