We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Kinaxis Rapid Response and/or Maestro to lead the design and implementation of advanced supply chain planning solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of demand and supply planning, long-term capacity planning, and production scheduling, along with hands-on experience in architecting scalable, integrated planning systems. This role requires strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement gathering, feasibility analysis and impact assessments for taking Go-No Go decision
- Architect and design end-to-end Kinaxis Rapid Response / Maestro solutions, including data models, planning hierarchies, and process workflows.
- Define and implement system configurations for modules such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and S&OP.
- Develop and optimize custom logic using Kinaxis scripting (e.g., Action Scripts, Alert Rules, and Task Flows) to support complex planning scenarios.
- Lead the integration of Kinaxis with upstream (ERP, CRM) and downstream (MES, logistics, financial planning) systems using REST APIs, flat files, or middleware platforms.
- Design and implement Control Tower dashboards and scenario simulations to enable real-time decision-making and what-if analysis.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to define data pipelines, transformation logic, and data quality checks for planning inputs and outputs.
- Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for Kinaxis environments to ensure scalability and responsiveness.
- Drive the development of reusable solution components, templates, and accelerators to streamline future deployments.
- Lead technical workshops and solution blueprinting sessions with business and IT stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, data governance policies, and security protocols.
- Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing for Kinaxis configurations.
- Provide technical mentorship to developers and analysts on Kinaxis architecture, development standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to hire, lead & train a team of developers and 3Ps and inspire them for problem solving and agile development
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience architecting solutions using Kinaxis Rapid Response or Maestro.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning domains including demand, supply, inventory, and capacity planning.
- Familiarity with planning systems like O9, OMP, SAP IBP is a plus.
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and their application in planning system design.
- System specific skills (Kinaxis or any other planning system):
- Deep knowledge of Kinaxis modules: Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, S&OP.
- Expertise in configuring and customizing Kinaxis Control Tower, Worksheets, and Dashboards.
- Strong understanding of Kinaxis data integration (upstream/downstream) with ERP, MES, CRM, and financial systems.
- Ability to model complex planning scenarios and simulate outcomes.
- Experience in Maestro for workflow orchestration and automation within planning systems.
- Proficiency in scripting, data modelling, and scenario managementHands-on experience in performance optimization and system scalability.
