Job Summary
We are looking for a IOT Engineer for development of Automation ,dashboard and products, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and customer needs. Your role involves executing the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to release, while adhering to Agile Scrum methodologies and maintaining high-quality standards. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing best-in-class development processes, you will play a crucial role in achieving project success.
 

Key Responsibilities & Technical Deliverables

Drive strategic lab automation-based projects within product development (APIs, formulation, scale-up/tech transfer, manufacturing) and process engineering. The expertise would be required for Automation  at a unit operation / process as well as systems level.

Support projects: Implement emerging technologies (digital twin, AI/ML integration with IoT) and lead pilot/proof-of-concept initiatives to embed next-generation capabilities.

Develop, validate and deployment of advanced automation systems for IPDO and Manufacturing Pilot Areas

Work closely with cross-functional teams: API R&D, Formulation R&D, MSAT, Process Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Digital & Data to translate real-world process challenges (e.g., reduce scale-up failures, improve robustness, shorten timeline).

Educational qualification: A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science - IOT, Information Technology, or related field

Minimum work experience: 5 to 8 years of experience

Skills & attributes:
Technical Skills

• Prior experience of defining scalable full stack product architecture.
• Well versed  with cloud-based web services architecture and development.
• Passion for Open-Source Technologies, adopting best-in-class Technology Stacks and leveraging cloud services and infrastructure for building best in class products and services.
• Expertise in designing applications to work with data and processing data at scale.
• Experience in driving API driven development integrations with 3rd party platforms.
• Ability to convert high-level engineering plan into an agile sprint plan with effort estimation for ensuring smooth and timely delivery.

•Programming (Python, Java Script, Ardunio, Free RTOS, SNAP7 Drivers).

•Backend Flask, Node.JS

•Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

•Tools (Docker, Postman, GitHub)

•Cloud (AWS IoT Core basics)

•RTOS development STM 32, Display programming, Multitask Programming, WiFi, OPC, Profinet, Modbus Driver Development

•IT/OT Integration using CISCO Routers and Cyber Security

•VLAN setup and configurations for OT, IoT network.

•Front End Dashboard Development (CSS, HTML, JS)

•React Preferrable

Our Automation & Sensorization journey is driven by the CoE team and is structured around two pillars: Automate the Core and Transform with Intelligent Sensing.

With a mandate to enhance operational efficiency and enable real-time decision-making, it spans across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and R&D. In other words, you could be working on projects to optimize production lines one day, deploying IoT-enabled sensors for predictive maintenance the next, and designing automated workflows for quality assurance the third.
