Key responsibilities:
- Closure of IFRS and Ind AS Consolidated books of accounts on a monthly basis;
- Preparation of quarterly / annual financial statements in the form of SEBI results, Schedule III format, Annual report along with detailed notes to accounts under IND AS reporting;
- Provide necessary assistance in the preparation of quarterly / annual financial statements in the Form 6-K and Form 20-F along with detailed notes to accounts under SEC reporting;
- Responsible for computations relating to cost, exercise of options, budgets and variance analysis with respect to stock appreciation rights expense of the company;
- Preparation of cash flow statement, balance Sheet Analytical Review and AC presentation deck.
- Support in masters (GL, FS, PC) management.
- Co-ordinate with the audit team (E&Y) for smooth closure of the audit process;
- Proper adherence to identified internal controls surrounding the financial statement closure process and ensure compliance to requirements under IFCs and SOX.
Support for Other Processes
- Support in Inter-Company elimination.
- Ensuring circulation of deferred cash and leave encashment numbers and its reconciliation.
- Preparation of foreign Subsidiary financials as per Sec 136
- Providing various details to tax team for tax entries.
- Review of FS Accounts
- Providing various consolidated numbers to other functions to meet various statutory / compliance requirements.
- Support in various process Automation and continuous process improvements.
- Review of XBRL Financials prepared by third party service providers.
- Review of Annual Report.
Mandatory Qualification & Skills:
- CA with 3-5 years post qualification experience
- Strong Foundation in Accounting & Reporting
- Worked on consolidation of INDAS/IFRS complied entities
- SAP Knowledge, Analytical & Presentation Skills

About the Department
Finance
The Finance function at Dr. Reddy's goes beyond the traditional roles of monitoring costs, supervising accounting and creating reports. Deep into its digitalization transformation journey, the function works with all departments in the organization as a strategic partner and plays a major role in supporting management in its decision making.
The function is distributed globally and has business partnering teams allied to different business units as Controller and Planners. And, secondly distributed as multiple Centre of Excellence housed in Corporate office, such as treasury, Risk & Assurance, Taxation, Corporate Analytics, Investor Relations, GFRT and GBS.
