Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsible for delivery and commissioning of projects, ensuring alignment with operating philosophies from the commencement of manufacturing.
2. Foster harmonization in process design and specifications across API Business units.
3. Collaborate with Automation & MES Vendors/OEMs to facilitate smooth delivery, including necessary customizations and integrations.
4. Drive continuous improvement projects through the implementation of automation and digitization on the shop floor.
5. Apply Design Thinking principles and build the necessary capabilities to ensure sustainability.
6. Demonstrate understanding of 21CFR Part11 requirements for computerized systems, Computer System Validation concepts, and familiarity with ISA 95,88 structure.
7. Understand and develop expertise in MES - Rockwell FTPS.
8. Gain proficiency in SAP systems and interface scenarios between SAP and MES systems.
9. Liaise between internal teams and external project teams, ensuring the completion of tasks.
10. Take responsibility for new project implementations and upgrade projects, from the requirement gathering stage to qualification and final delivery.
11. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end production process of API Manufacturing.
12. Provide functional guidance to users working on the application.
13. Define hardware requirements for the implementation of MES systems.
14. Coordinate with vendor support teams for issue corrections and implement corrections/enhancements and version upgrades in accordance with qualification standards and SOPs.
15. Interact with business users to gather and understand their needs, analyze process documents, workflows, and conduct workshops and surveys to document project scope and business requirements.
16. Collaborate with architects and business partners to identify technical solutions for business process improvements, ensuring a balance between the value proposition and scope.
17. Implement and optimize Distributed Control Systems (DCS) for enhanced control and monitoring.
18. Ensure compliance with industrial protocols, facilitating seamless system integration.
19. Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives, leveraging technological advancements for improved efficiency.
20. Lead the adoption of smart manufacturing practices, integrating IoT, analytics, and predictive maintenance.
