- Responsible to follow good laboratory and safety practices in the laboratory.
- Responsible to follow good documentation practices in the laboratory.
- Responsible to ensure the cleanliness of the laboratory.
- Handling of Instruments like HPLC,GC,PSD, LBPC, ICPMS,AAS, KF, Dissolution, UV,IR, Potentiometer, SOR, Polarography,Viscometer,DSC, TLC etc.
- Responsible for the Physical &Chemical analysis.
- Reference standards and Working standards management.
- Stability data compilation and reports preparation.
- Stability samples management.
- Responsible for calibration of analytical instruments and Equipment's.
- Responsible to ensure the stability samples receipt and the analysis of stability samples and reconciliation as per the laid down procedures.
- Responsible to prepare the inspection plans, catalogs for stability specifications and STP’s in SAP.
- Responsible to record the analytical results in SAP.
- Responsible to check and Review of activities wherever the second person witness is required (Objective evidence is not available).
- Responsible to maintain laboratory analytical standards as per the laid down procedures.
- Responsible to maintain laboratory Chemicals and reagents.
- Responsible to perform QC related SAP activities.
- Responsible to execute LIMS related activities
- Responsible to initiate and Investigate CRN, OOS and incidents.
- Responsible for preparation of record of analysis and analytical test report.
- Any other assignment given by higher management.
Educational qualification:
A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field
MSC - Chemistry , B.Pharmacy , M Pharmacy
Minimum work experience:
1 to 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industry
Skills & attributes: Technical Skills
- Proficient in various analytical techniques, including sampling and analysis of packaging and raw material samples.
- Experience with the operation and maintenance of analytical instruments, ensuring proper use and care as per SOPs.
- Competent in SAP activities related to sample tracking, documentation, and data entry.
- Knowledgeable about cGMP, SOPs, and STPs, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to specifications.
- Adheres to safety precautions and procedures during analysis, emphasizing the importance of lab safety, JSA (Job Safety Analysis), and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Expertise in handling and upkeep of the chemical and solvent store, including the preparation and maintenance of volumetric solutions and reagents.
Behavioural Skills
- Keen attention to detail in analysis and documentation, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for communicating with the Group Leader, reporting discrepancies, incidents, and providing timely updates.
- Takes initiative in ensuring the proper use and care of instruments, timely destruction of samples, and other assigned responsibilities.
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills in addressing discrepancies, incidents, and ensuring smooth laboratory operations.
- Upholds ethical standards, compliance with SOPs, and follows regulatory requirements in all activities.
