Job Summary
We are looking for a candidate to ensure the efficient execution of production plans for input mateial viz., Raw material, Packing material, Consumbles, Resin etc.,  coordinating with  cross-functional teams. The role involves converting purchase  requestion  to process orders, preparing monthly reports, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality norms. 

Roles & Responsibilities
The team member is primarily responsible for managing input material, viz., raw material, packing material, resin, and consumables for the biologic plant. To manage inventory management and coordinate with individuals and cross-functional teams on material planning. To interact with the procurement team, development team, and program team t to ensure proper planning for existing commercial products and new products in the pipe  lines. 

The team member must meet the full kitting of input material and safety stock levels. Consultation with production schedulers for the changes in the production schedule for inventory planning Review material issuance variances against standard usage. Monitor all BOM changes and update the respective systems on a regular basis. Review of non-moving, near expiry and under test materials.

The team member responsibilities include developing the plan most effectively and efficiently for input material planning, meeting the production plan, and Target inventory. Implement and maintain inventory management strategies for all raw materials, packing materials, and Consumables  by regular review and optimisation of inventory parameters and levels (e.g., reorder point, safety stock, ABC categorization).

The team member acts as an interface between production, QC, and procurement to resolve material planning-related issues. Place purchase requests based on the production plan / campaign plan. Regular review of planned orders, purchase requests, and purchase orders Consultation with the procurement team regarding the availability of inventory as per the production schedule Consultation with Production Schedulers for the changes in the Production Schedule for Inventory Planning

A review of non-moving and slow-moving inventory recommends actions to move the stock. Tracking with QC regarding the release of materials and retesting of materials for production usage. Accountable for master data management in SAP, Kinaxis, and digital plant form for raw materials, packing materials, and consumables.

Ensure full kitting for input material as against plan published.

Educational qualification: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field

Minimum work experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in production planning, execution, and coordination in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety and compliance

Skills & attributes:

Technical Skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards, and familiarity with industry standards for safety norms, company policies and procedures.
• Experience in achieving production plans, and ensuring machine and material availability.
• Problem solving experience in resource handling and product schedule planning based on urgency.
• Proficiency in documentation of daily meetings, and preparation of MIS reports, production plans and packing plans.
• Familiarity with MES software, specifically the elements of process orders.

Behavioural Skills
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mind set to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production-related issues, prioritize tasks, and make decisions based on urgency.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production priorities, scheduling requirements, and unforeseen challenges.
• Strong attention to detail for the preparation of production related documentation.
• Commitment to adherence and compliance with safety and quality norms.
• Taking initiative in resolving issues, improving processes, and contributing to the overall efficiency of production operations.
• Knowledge of working in regulatory environment like USFDA, MHRA, TGA
• Should have good understanding of cGM, cGDP, and good laboratories practice
• Must have hands-on experience in sophisticated manufacturing machine and equipment.
