Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Team Member - Engineering to join our dynamic engineering team at our facility in Baddi, India. In this role, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our engineering systems and equipment. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support maintenance activities, troubleshooting efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical expertise while being part of a supportive and innovative team committed to operational excellence.

  • Support preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including LOTO and work permit coordination
  • Assist in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment faults, documenting findings and supporting root cause analysis efforts
  • Participate in the maintenance and operation of plant equipment, including transformers, generators, substations, and automation systems
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, engineering drawings, and maintenance records in compliance with organizational standards and SAP systems
  • Support the implementation of lean practices such as 5S, Kaizen, and autonomous maintenance to enhance workplace efficiency and safety
  • Collaborate with team members and vendors to identify equipment issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Assist in training activities and knowledge sharing sessions to build team capabilities and promote a culture of continuous learning
  • Monitor equipment performance, identify process abnormalities, and communicate findings to senior team members
  • Contribute to small project modifications and equipment upgrades under the guidance of plant leads and senior engineers
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in utility areas and ensure availability of critical spare parts while optimizing inventory

Qualifications

**Educational Qualification**

  • Diploma or Graduation in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

**Minimum Work Experience**

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in engineering maintenance, equipment operation, or related technical roles

**Functional Skills**

  • Engineering drawings interpretation and technical documentation
  • Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and equipment maintenance
  • Vendor communication and coordination
  • Automation systems basics and design codes knowledge
  • SAP familiarity (preferred)

**Resident Skills**

  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Lean Methodologies
  • Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles
  • Operational Excellence commitment

**Behavioral Skills**

  • Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
