Job Summary

Responsible for the development of Primary Packaging Materials for parenteral preparations especially combination drug products in various container closure systems for regulatory markets (USA, Europe, Canada, etc.,) like:

Pre-filled Syringes (Glass and Plastic),

Ophthalmic containers,

Nasal Sprays,

Infusion Bags and Hanger labels,

Glass vials.

Expertise in Preparing the Design History File for all the combination products by 21 CFR 820.

Expertise in obtaining GSPR certification for Europe market from Notified Bodies as per the EU MDR.

Expertise in understanding the concept of ISO 13485, Medical devices – Quality management  systems.

Expertise in understanding the requirment of ISO 14971, Medical devices — Application of risk management to medical devices.

Preparation of Threshold analyses report for many Drug products to omit the Human factor studies for the proposed device for combination products.

Handling deficiencies form USFDA & EU regulatory for various products.

Vendor Co-ordination for the device development for combination products.

Educational qualification: Packaging Technologist
Minimum work experience: 6-8 years of experience in Packaging in Pharma/ related industry
