Roles & Responsibilities

1. To support and execute formulation development of mAbs and fusion protein projects (Liquid and Lyophilized)
2. Conducting stability studies as per ICH guidelines.
3. Conducting Process Development studies and assess fitment of pipeline drug product in the fill finish manufacturing facility.
4. Acquisition, recording, analysis and compilation of data in prescribed formats.
5. Responsible for maintenance and documentation of the developmental work carried out.
6. Supporting procurement/installation of appropriate equipment’s and consumables required for work, whenever applicable.
7. Capturing and compilation of the data generated contemporaneously in eLN (electronic Lab Notebook), author reports and getting the same verified by the manager of the team regularly.
8. Ability to manage a sub-team.
9. Ensuring proper usage and maintenance and calibration of equipment: entering the usage in log books and alerting appropriate personnel about any discrepancy and breakdown.

Educational qualification

A Master’s degree (with 8-10 years' experience) or PhD with minimum 5 years' experience in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum work experience

A Master’s degree (with 8-10 years' experience) or PhD with minimum 5 years' experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations, with a focus on batch manufacturing, and process validation

Skills & attributes Technical Skills

• Knowledge of MaBs and Fusion Protein (or other modalities) formulation development
• Knowledge of statistical methods viz. Design of Experiments
• Hands on experience with Lyophilizer and knowledge of lyophilization cycle design.
• Hands on experience with Fill Finish Process Development of liquid and lyophilized therapeutic proteins.
• Hands on experience with HPLC, SEC-MALLS, DSC, MFI, LO, High throughput formulation screening techniques.
• Experience with DP Tech Transfer
• Upto date with Regulatory Requirement for DP Development and approval.

• Capacity to provide training on good manufacturing practices and other relevant areas.
• Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges in manufacturing processes.
• Collaborates seamlessly with cross-functional teams, promoting a cooperative and inclusive work environment.

• Knowledge of working in regulatory environment like USFDA, MHRA, TGA.
• Should have good understanding of cGM, cGDP, and good laboratories practice.
• Must have hands-on experience in sophisticated manufacturing machine and equipment.
• Effective communication and training skills for user departments and service providers.
