Job Summary

Lead the Strategy Deployment, PMO, and Governance agenda for the PSAI business, serving as the custodian of enterprise-wide execution excellence across the global API and API+ B2B portfolio. The role is responsible for translating strategic priorities into measurable outcomes, driving governance-led transformation, institutionalizing performance management rhythms, and ensuring rigorous execution of priorities and critical business initiatives. As a trusted advisor to the PSAI Business Head, the incumbent will orchestrate cross-functional alignment, accelerate decision-making, proactively mitigate risks, and enhance organizational effectiveness to deliver sustainable business growth, customer success, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the end-to-end PSAI Strategy Deployment Process (SDP), translating business strategy into actionable objectives, KPIs, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead the PMO for PSAI priorities, strategic transformation initiatives, and enterprise programs, ensuring disciplined execution, milestone achievement, risk mitigation, and realization of intended business benefits.
• Establish and institutionalize a robust performance governance framework, including business reviews, operating reviews, scorecards, dashboards, and action-tracking mechanisms to improve execution transparency and accountability.
• Drive governance-led transformation across API and API+ businesses by implementing structured operating mechanisms, decision forums, escalation protocols, and performance management disciplines.
• Partner with commercial, operations, supply chain, quality, R&D, finance, and enabling functions to ensure seamless cross-functional alignment and timely delivery of strategic, customer, and operational priorities.
• Provide strategic counsel to support decision-making on critical business, organizational, operational, and stakeholder matters.
• Identify enterprise risks, execution bottlenecks, and interdependencies, driving proactive interventions and corrective actions to sustain strategic momentum.
• Lead executive-level review forums and governance meetings, ensuring high-quality insights, fact-based discussions, timely decisions, and closure of agreed actions.
• Build enterprise-wide visibility through management dashboards, KPI scorecards, and business analytics that enable performance monitoring and informed decision-making.
• Foster a culture of execution excellence, continuous improvement, ownership, and outcome orientation across PSAI's global B2B business.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a premier institution preferred.
• 10+ years of overall experience, with at least 3+ years in strategy execution, transformation, PMO, business excellence, consulting, or governance-led roles.
• Proven experience in driving enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, strategy deployment, operating reviews, and transformation programs in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Certification in Project Management, Strategy Execution, Business Transformation, Lean/Six Sigma, or Program Management will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably APIs, API+, CDMO/CMO, formulations, and global B2B business models.
