Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead our process engineering team, overseeing maintenance operations for critical equipment. The role involves reviewing engineering deliverables, guiding event investigations, proposing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with audit standards. The ideal candidate will focus on minimizing downtime, generating energy-saving ideas, and prioritizing safety for people, equipment, and facilities.

" Roles & Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for leading the process engineering team for preventive and breakdown maintenance operations of equipment like Washer, Depyrogenation Tunnels, Filling machine, Isolator, Capping machine, Lyophilizers, Pre-filled Syringe Filling, Autoclave / Steam Sterilizers, Vessels.
• You will be Responsible for reviewing engineering deliverables and extending appropriate corrective actions to attain excellence.
• You will guide the team for the closure of event investigation, and propose proper CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and audit compliance.
• You will ensure minimum downtime due to breakdown and ensure the availability of equipment and facility as per the production plan.
• You will participate in generating energy and cost-saving ideas and ensure the proper implementation of the ones selected.
• You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of people, equipment, and the facility.

Educational qualification:

A B.E. or B.Tech.

Minimum work experience:

15 to 20 years of experience

Skills & attributes: Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Filling line machines (Washer, Tunnel, Filling machine, Capping), LYO (Lyophilisers), and Isolators.
• Knowledge of budgeting, preventive maintenance & calibration scheduling and execution.
• Ability to handle projects related to machine upgrading, installation, and commissioning of new equipment, area modification.
• Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and computerized systems (SCADA – Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).
• Strong knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance strategies.
• Experience in event investigation and CAPA implementation.
• Familiarity with audit compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry.

Behavioural Skills

• Strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors, cross-functional teams, and regulatory/internal audits and inspections.
• Leadership and team management skills to guide and lead the process engineering team effectively.
• Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to ensuring the safety of people, equipment, and facilities.
