Roles & Responsibilities
- Formulation B2B partnership: Responsible for growth of annual budget for the region, have a thorough understanding of customer-product mix of the region, front end customer interactions and negotiations, have a pulse of customer's annual/seasonal requirements for commercial products, competitive intelligence, closely track market dynamics to protect and grow the base business
- Identification and Evaluation of API+ opportunities: Create a charter/ process flow for API+ product identification & evaluation by defining evaluation and attractiveness criteria, input sources and frequency of evaluation (filed ANDAs, new APIs & customer feedback), Identify various stakeholders who would support the evaluation process and SLAs wherever needed to identify the gaps in current portfolio, generate new product ideas and strategies to fill the portfolio gaps. Responsible for all API Plus portfolio ideation/selection, MIS and business building.
- Business Growth: Actively seek business expansion through customer engagement and secondary research, increase product basket with existing customers, position new products across customer base, assess and propose business opportunities with new companies, gain in depth understanding of the new product pipeline, technical, regulatory and IP aspects of products, strategize new product pitch for customers, maximise sample-seeding-lockin instances for focus products.
- Working with R&D- project management: Effective planning, execution, monitoring and completion of projects as per agreed time lines; Use LDM principles, review the Project progress on daily basis, perform risk assessment periodically and take remedial actions in time
- Key Account Management: Ensure customer satisfaction through timely sharing of relevant information, providing prompt and quality response to customer queries and engaging customer through convenient modes of communication like e-mail, periodical teleconference / video conference and face-face meeting
Educational Qualification
Experience: 10-15 years of experience in formulation R&D AND/OR Analytical R&D with fair understanding in regulatory requirements, intellectual property with strong knowledge in managing the products selection, portfolio management of DS & DP.
Academics: Masters in Chemistry/Masters in Pharmacy
