Material Scientist Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated and a go-getter individual to fill the role as a material scientist expert. The successful candidate will play a crucial role for leading advanced materials research, development, and characterization projects to drive product specific characterization strategy related to solid-state advanced analytical tools and further Identify on transformative pharmaceutical technologies with external and internal collaborations for organization. This role will require a deep understanding of the scientific advancements, industry landscape, and business acumen to identify opportunities for technology adoption and strategic development.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Analytical Skill:
* Analytical method development/validation related to techniques like Thermal, sorption, scattering and spectroscopy techniques.
* Integration of solid-state material characterization with regular and advanced techniques to server a critical product development program related to various dosage forms and API.
* Supervise investigation related to commercial batch failure related to physiochemical attributes.

* Conduct cutting-edge research to characterize and evaluate material properties and performance.

* Analyze complex data sets and prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations

2. Collaboration and Technology Scouting:

* Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in materials science and propose innovative solutions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with external organizations, academic institutions, start-ups, and industry experts to stay informed about emerging technologies and potential collaborations.

* Monitor and identify potential technologies in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical technologies, including but not limited to drug discovery, drug development, analytical techniques and manufacturing processes that could enhance product portfolio, R&D capabilities, and operational efficiency.
* Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including API, GG, RA functions, to apply materials science expertise to product concurrence with business needs.

3. Team Coaching and Development:
* Provide guidance and coaching to the team members for complex execution.

* Mentor junior scientists and contribute to the overall growth of the materials science team
* Foster an inclusive and respectful work environment where diverse perspectives are valued.

* Ph.D. in chemical/material/biological/medical science or a related field with a focus on drug characterization/development/discovery strategy. Post Ph.D. experience with prime
international university/institute on collaborative/multi-disciplinary research projects is highly meriting.
• 7-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical generic/innovator company, with a strong background in research and development.
• Result oriented excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic coupled with high motivation and a go-getter attitude.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities to establish credibility with internal and external scientific and business experts.
• Experience with complex generics/biosimilars/new therapeutic modalities/technology platforms.
• Familiarity with regulatory and intellectual property considerations in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Track record of scientific publications and presentations is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
• Experience driving complex strategic projects with diverse stakeholder groups is plus.
