Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Demand Planning

  • Lead the demand planning process for the VMHS and Rebalanz portfolio and ensure early visibility of demand and Latest Estimate (LE) for the entire JV, including the Nutra category.
  • Finalize the consensus forecast by engaging with sales, marketing, finance, and supply teams.
  • Review statistical forecasts, ensure alignment with the sales team, and proactively highlight demand risks, slow-moving items, and expiry exposures.

2. Supply Planning

  • Develop integrated supply plans across in-house manufacturing, loan licensing partners, and third-party manufacturing partners.
  • Own and maintain supply‑planning master data, including LL Bills of Materials, safety stock norms, Minimum Order Quantities, replenishment logic, and all planning parameters.
  • Define target stock levels and ensure adherence to inventory discipline, freshness norms, service levels, and minimization of obsolescence.

3. Operational Execution

  • Ensure timely implementation of MRP‑related changes and lead the monthly pre‑S&OP review with GEM and procurement teams, focusing on key performance indicators and emerging risks.
  • Drive deployment planning to CFAs in alignment with market requirements.
  • Manage factory‑to‑customer freight for the Rebalanz portfolio and oversee inventory at the single designated JV warehouse.
  • Ensure market freshness, network inventory hygiene, and balanced stock deployment to avoid ageing or stock shortages.

4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate physician sample planning with Marketing and Finance.
  • Prepare S&OP decks and lead planning inputs for monthly reviews, Management Review Meetings, and leadership forums.
  • Drive regulatory readiness initiatives, including artwork changes and other regulatory transitions.
  • Evaluate institutional orders and support continuous supply chain process improvement initiatives.

5. Systems, Automation, and Governance

  • Own planning system discipline, master‑data hygiene, and automation projects across SAP and Kinaxis.
  • Lead “no‑touch planning” initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and system-driven processes.

6. Strategic Projects

  • Lead network management initiatives and support Go‑To‑Market restructuring for selected portfolios.
  • Build an FMCG‑forward ecosystem and drive performance towards top‑decile metrics across the supply chain.
  • Leverage technology to enable future‑ready systems, including Vendor Managed Inventory, distributor management software, and secondary‑based forecasting models.

Qualifications

Qualification

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • MBA is preferred, particularly in Operations, Supply Chain, or related fields.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong influencing skills to drive alignment, secure stakeholder buy‑in, and lead discussions with senior partners.
  • Ability to analyse data, interpret trends, and take decisions based on business priorities.

Additional Information

As part of a strategic pillar for Dr. Reddy’s growth in the consumer space, a Joint Venture was established with Nestlé Health Science in FY 2024–25 to fast‑track the Nutraceuticals growth journey. This partnership has been created with a clear mandate to achieve the defined milestones for FY 2030.

Under this strategic arrangement, the Supply Chain function and a few other critical functions of Dr. Reddy’s continue to provide functional expertise to the Joint Venture and operate as shared services.
