Job Description

Role Overview
We are looking for a commercially minded, analytically rigorous, strategically agile and globally connected Lead to join the Global Innovation team. This role sits at the intersection of corporate strategy, corporate M&A, global strategic intelligence and senior stakeholder partnership, translating complex market data into clear, decision-ready insights that shape our branded innovation strategy and portfolio priorities across key markets like US, EU, Japan and China.

You will act as a trusted insights partner to the senior stakeholders, own the in-market forecasting project design and execution, and lead the competitive intelligence agenda.

Responsibilities

Drive In-Market Forecasting, commercial planning and 

  • Own end-to-end in-market forecasting including methodology design, assumptions governance, and delivery of robust market projections.
  • Lead planning for branded products launches.
  • Partner with Business Finance, M&A and Commercial teams to align forecasts with planning and ensure alignment on key assumptions.
  • Continuously improve forecast accuracy through data quality enhancement, model refinement, advanced tool utilization and integration of leading indicators.
     

Senior Management Insights Partnering

  • Serve as the primary insights partner to senior leadership, proactively surfacing market intelligence to support strategic decision-making and investment prioritization.
  • Translate complex insights into executive-ready narratives and conduct fact-based business cases, including materials for investor relations, board reviews, and cross-functional planning cycles.
     

Market Performance KPI Guidance

  • Define and govern the market performance KPI framework, ensuring consistent measurement and interpretation of market performance across affiliate markets.
  • Proactively review and upgrade performance dashboards and reporting cadences for senior leadership, enabling rapid identification of performance trends.
  • Provide guidance to affiliates on KPI interpretation, benchmarking, and data standards.
     

Competitive Intelligence

Drive the competitive intelligence agenda closely collaborating with HQ team, with the focus on activating and synthesizing affiliate intelligence and support inorganic growth strategy 


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business discipline e.g. Economics, Statistics, Business Analytics, etc
  • 8+ years of experience in global market insights, marketing, analytics, or commercial intelligence within Multi National pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Strong commercial analytical ability to run business case formulation, forecasting modelling, and synthesise complex, multi-source data into clear executive narratives and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong expertise in pharmaceutical market analytics, including IQVIA data, patient-level analytics, primary market research, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of the global oncology competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced and evolving operational environment
  • Professional level written and spoken English

Additional Information

Desirable

  • Experience with forecasting and commercial planning tools,AI tools,  BI platforms (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), or advanced analytics techniques.
  • Experience with global M&A
