Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Alliance and Program Manager to lead strategic partnership initiatives and drive collaborative efforts for our North America business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of alliance management, contract development, and project coordination to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products within budgetary constraints. 

The role will be based in Hyderabad and report to Head Technical Services and New Product Launch

Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong connect with IPDO, DRO, GMO to improve the success of new product launch inline with the predefined budget & possible upsides.
  • Lead the existing signed projects to achieve the full scope within defined budget, within committed timelines to gain the maximum business value.
  • Lead the life cycle management & cost improvement initiatives- identify cost optimization and efficiency improvement opportunities in consultation with commercial eg. Alternate Vendor Development, Site transfer and develop implementation plan with relevant SMEs/ functions and ensure delivery to create maximum value for the products.
  • Actively participate in H2C & MWP project discussions at head office, representing the NAG team to focus on delivery as per business plan.
  • Support Due diligence for new projects for Asia based partners.
  • Process & systems implementation for continuous improvement– ensure predictability and avoid possible issues, embrace LEAN thinking and improve productivity identify the possible opportunities for improvement of existing processes & possible system implementation to improve the overall efficiency.
  • Alliance Management for India and Asia based existing partners & new partners,
    • Optimization of key collaboration: Lead full range of designated alliance across a spectrum of both complexity & strategic importance.
    • Relationship Building – Build & maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders, identify potential risks and issues, address them proactively.
    • Periodic checkpoints with partners to review progress, understand synergy opportunities and address resolution of issues which may potentially impact partnership.
    • Negotiate the supply price/ commercial terms (milestone payments) with partner in line with business requirement.

Qualifications

Educational qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant Science/ pharma or business administration

Minimum work experience:  5 years of experience

Skills & attributes:

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in conducting Market research and analysis.
  • Extensive experience in alliance management, pharmaceutical development.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance, supply chain management, and financial modelling within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong understanding of business development strategies, market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with generics products, markets, therapies and basics of Intellectual Property and regulations. 
  • Strong Negotiation skills, Data Analytical Skills and Knowledge Management Systems.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical sciences, including chemistry, pharmacology, and formulation development, is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in project portfolio management tools and risk assessment methodologies

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
