We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Manager to ensure successfully driving marketing initiatives, developing, and executing new product launch plans, conducting effective sales force training, and implementing market research strategies for brand performance enhancement. Collaborating with the CFT team across BUs i.e., Portfolio, RA, SCM, CoE, Legal & compliance team for supporting smooth business operation. Ready to travel to different countries and work in dynamic international business environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Brand management:
Driving marketing activities in assigned markets (countries) in co-ordination with local teams and business partners.
Marketing planning for key brands, preparing scientific marketing materials and communication with medical affairs team.
Product performance review by gathering market insights, identifying key issues, and implementing action plans to maintain optimal brand performance, including conducting market research for brand positioning correction.
Interacting with Key Opinion Leader (KOLs), conducting fieldwork to gather insights, updating KOLs on product value, and collating product evidence and clinical reports to build strong relationships and drive growth.
New product launch planning and execution, by preparing product launch materials, coordinating launch meetings, organising launch events (CMEs/Pharmacist meeting), training the sales force, and tracking product performance.
Implementation of new initiative in sales and marketing etc. (DRL best practices)
Travelling to countries for new launches, Field work and Products training.
Co-ordination with sales teams and review of field activities tracking of implementation of agreed plans.
New product evaluation:
Analysis of available data set of the countries for new product evaluation, Filing and introduction
Market assessment of TAs, Molecules, and analysis of competitive landscape for new launches
Driving new products evaluation with CFT team i. e. Portfolio, Regulatory Affairs, Project managers, Medical Affairs.
Conducting market research (primary & secondary), meeting various stakeholders (Partners, Doctors, Retailers etc.) in country for new product introduction
Strategy:
Regular market data analysis for business performance, competition tracking
Develop and update 5 years rolling start plan for assigned geography.
Preparing management presentation – Budget PPT, MRMs, QRMs
Primary and secondary sales analysis, Tracking inventory & DOH.
MIS & tracking promo expenses
Operation support:
Co-ordination with internal functions i.e., CoE, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Pharmacovigilance, logistics, procurement teams for day-to-day functioning and decision making.
Qualifications:
Educational qualification- Science/Pharma graduate with MBA in Marketing/International Business
Minimum work experience- 5-7 years of experience in marketing/Brand/Product management. Relevant international business experience /Sales experience will be an added advantage however, not limitation.
Skills & attributes
Technical Skills:
Understanding of Pharmaceutical industry; ability to interpret market data; gain marketing insights from various resources.
Ability to analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the generics market.
Strong problem-solving skills to address regulatory challenges, market access issues, and product-related issues.
Basic understanding of anatomy and physiology.
Behavioural Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills, facilitating positive relationships with cross cultural teams and effective communication.
Demonstrates proficiency in presenting information, ideas, or data effectively to others.
Good analytical skills, enabling interpretation and analysis of information for decision-making.
Result oriented and with a work ethic of delivering on-time and in scope.
