Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and forward-thinking professional in the Advanced Characterization Team who brings enthusiasm, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to challenges, contributing positively to team goals and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced, evolving work environment. He/she will be responsible for designing, planning and performing microstructure-based analysis using suitable Solid State Characterization Techniques as per required project timeline.

  • Morphology Identification and Structural understanding of Drug Substances, Reverse Engineering, Delamination Study, Particulate Matter Analysis, Particle Size Distribution, Globule Size Distribution, Identification of Crystalline and Non-Crystalline Particles, Core Size, Layer Thickness by high-end microscopy and spectroscopy techniques. 
  • Method Development and Method Validation for assigned projects as per agreed stipulated timeline.
  • Sameness data generation and reporting. Repot preparation as per agency/customers and legal requirements.
  • Take part in innovative method/protocal development using Image and data analytics. 
  • Transfer of the developed analytical methods to Q.C., explain the critical parameters involved & troubleshoot when required to facilitate smooth product scale up.
  • Maintain GLP (good laboratory practices) & GDP (good documentation practices) in the analytical laboratory to adhere to SOPs & compliance. Capable to perform analysis with minimal guidance as per cGMP and cGLP practices.
  • Addressing plant investigations (majorly exterior matter characterization), regulatory queries and litigation queries related to various microscopy techniques.
  • Maintenance of the instruments and coordination with vendor during breakdown. 

Qualifications

M Pharm/MSc in general science, pharmaceutical or analytical chemistry.

  • Team player with good interpersonal skills & communication skill.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical development and workflow.
